okay so one night like a week or two ago kurt was meowing at me and one of the meows sounded like he was saying “hewwo” so since then I started saying “hewwo” instead of meowing back at him (like I do with all his cat sounds, naturally) and slowly his meows evolved into something vaguely “hewwo”like with the one or two True and Powerful Hewwo’s a day
but now that you have backstory I was just standing in my kitchen making rice, everythings dead silent, and suddenly this fucking “HEWWO??” echoes through the whole apartment and it almost killed me
my first joke i ever made was drawing a comic where two people are staring at a dress in the window of a store. one of them says “I would die for that dress” and the other says “i would kill for that dress” and then they look at each other awkwardly.
this was when i was like 6 and every day i wake up knowing I’ll never be able to top this, my magnum opus.

while goths and occult enthusiasts may dress similar they are entirely two separate things. one is the pursuit of dark arts and one is a lifestyle fashion choice.
PLEASE don’t get them mixed up. Goths won’t know about the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum or the ars goetia.
you wouldn’t ask an occult enthusiast about goth fashion, so don’t ask goths about prince stolas
Please write stories that are problematic.
Stories need conflict.
Write them to show what’s healthy. Write them to show what’s unhealthy.
Write them because problematic behaviors exists, and writing is a medium to explore and show– to teach and make the reader think. Shying away from these topics only creates ignorance.
I see so many people telling writers to avoid anything that could be problematic, like writing about it is supporting it. They fail to see the importance of writing with depth and meaning.
Writing has always been about conveying thoughts and ideas without fear of censorship. Being able to present problematic situations in a healthy way is important.
If I ever stop reblogging this topic, assume I’m either dead or have been assimilated by the mindless masses.
